Enter Mario Sorrenti’s ode to Chilean film maker, director, writer and composer, Alejandro Jorodowsky, in V67′s issue. I am a devout fan of his cult classic films El Topo, Santa Sangre, and Holy Mountain. The symbolism in his work is violent and surreal, saturated with a hybrid fusion of ritual, mysticism and religious taboo. The imagery from El Topo has stayed with me since my childhood.
