Twenty-two year old French hairdresser, Charlie Le Mundi, known for his elaborate wigs and hairdressing techniques, first started cutting hair when he was thirteen years old.  He use to give crazy cuts and color to his Barbie dolls.  Having created his own “pop up salon” at the Modular parties in Berlin, he’d cut, blow dry and style clients who’d leave home undone and then relish on a new do for the rest of the party.  He figured he’d bring the salon to them at the right place and time, since most of them were not out by day.  But he emphasized that he is not a milliner and that wigs are an elaborate accessory, which can bring out a person’s personality or a new one, not a hat you put on.  After training to do the bob at The Vidal Sasson school he moved on to learn on his own through trial and error and created his own cutting techniques and signatures such as the “Eiffel Tower” which is a big pineapple tower shaped of hair. Outrageous.  Dixie Rose
