We live in a dying world where society is eating away at all its natural resources faster than what it can replenish. Not to say it will not recover,  because nature’s defenses are designed to always compensate. Even if it takes a lifetime for the miracle of nature to heal, we will only live once to bear witness. There is much friction in the relationship between humans and nature. One aspect of that tension is due to our attachment of things which are not biodegradable and where do they go to waste?  Kate MacDowell creates food for thought quite ironically.  She tells us that we too, are self victimizing because of how we treat nature. Love the heart piece…illumisly beautiful! However, not too fond about the skeleton pieces. Man developing through animals??? A kind of Minotaur?
