Russian Sasha Tugolukova’s www.fullofmeaningless.com website is short of a significant body of work, but I get her non-egotistical stance.  Her composition is captivating in how intricate her delicately precise cut layers texturize her “femme fatale” character’s faces in double-triple facial tones. They echo emotion and personality.  Her characters look as if they were wearing masks, but you could still see the true psychology permeate underneath in  an array  of  manipulated blotches of makeup. And as for the last image from top to bottom, I have an exceptional craving for steamed dumplings on a periodical basis. Sasha graduated with a BA Honors in Illustration from the London College of Communication in 2008.  Having a multidisciplinary background she produces work in different mediums ranging from raw silk screenprints to vector drawings. Feeling it. Dixie Rose
